Napoleon's Early Life

Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Ajaccio, Corsica on August 15th, 1769. He belonged to a family of minor n0bles. His mother was Laetitia Bonaparte and his father was Charles Bonaparte. Napoleon was the fourth child to be born in his family out of seven. Before he was emperor, he went to many military schools. At the age of nine, he attended a military school at Brienne. Then in 1784, he accompanied his father on a trip to France. There, he was enrolled in another military school called Parisian École Royale Military. He studied the role of being an artillery officer. Napoleon easily finished his study within a year, but usually, it would take three years to finish. That was the beginning of his success in the military. Napoleon, also known as "the Little Corporal", was the youngest general in the French army. Sadly, he died on May 5th, 1821.
